A meeting was held on June 6 to present gifts from the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un to participants in the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Children’s Union.
Present there were Ju Chang Il, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, other Party Central Committee officials, youth league officials, and participants in the celebrations of the Korean Children’s Union’s 80th founding anniversary.
Ju Chang Il made an address.
He warmly congratulated the Korean Children’s Union members on celebrating the 80th anniversary of the organization and noted that the occasion had been marked under the loving care of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
He added that the gifts reflected the warm and profound affection of Marshal Kim Jong Un, who wishes the KCU members to grow up uprightly and stoutly.
He called on all the Children’s Union members to study diligently, take an active part in their organizational life so that they could grow into knowledgeable, morally sound and physically strong young patriots and future pillars of a thriving Korea.
