The Children’s Union members across the country significantly celebrated the 80th founding anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union.
On June 6, Pak Thae Song and Jo Yong Won, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and Ri Hi Yong, Jong Kyong Thaek, Sin Yong Il, Jo Chun Ryong, An Kum Chol, Kim Jong Gwan, Kim Tok Hun, Jon Hyon Chol and other senior Party and government officials visited all provinces of the country to celebrate the KCU founding anniversary with the schoolchildren.
They met and congratulated the KCU members who have distinguished themselves in study, organizational life and do-good-thing movement.
Senior Party and government officials joined schoolchildren in celebrating the KCU birthday.
At provincial meetings of Korean Children’s Union organizations, officials encouraged KCU members to uphold the organization’s values in their daily lives and to grow into young patriots, always remembering the pledge they made when joining the Union.
Art performances by schoolchildren and other cultural events were held, adding to the pleasure of the holiday.
Senior Party and government officials also enjoyed sports and recreational activities together with the schoolchildren.
