Ceremony Marks Start of New School Year at Korean Rehabilitation Centre

New school year opening ceremony was held on April 1 at the Korean Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities.

It was attended by Jon Chol Hi, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, along with relevant officials, as well as children, nurses, teachers, doctors from the centre, and parents of the children.

During the ceremony, Song Hyang Chun, director of the rehabilitation centre, made an address, followed by additional speeches.

Speakers highlighted that children with disabilities would benefit from a brighter and more cheerful life thanks to the support of the country’s socialist system. They also reaffirmed their commitment to carrying out their responsibilities in line with the Workers’ Party of Korea’s policy on protecting persons with disabilities.

After the ceremony, participants toured various facilities within the rehabilitation centre.
