Leisure complexes in Kangdong County of Pyongyang, Jongphyong County of South Hamgyong Province and Kaephung District of Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK, built to support cultural and recreational activities for local residents, are now attracting large numbers of visitors every day.
Cinemas, general commercial districts and other places are filled with working people, youth and students.
The new facilities were built under the Workers’ Party of Korea’s regional development policy.
