A grand performance was given in celebration of the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on February 26.
Among the audience were members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and other members of the ninth-term Party central leadership, delegates and observers to the Ninth Congress of the WPK, special guests, and members of the congratulatory groups of Koreans in Japan and the General Association of Koreans in China.
The performance started with the prelude “Ode to the Mother Party.” Put on the stage were songs reflecting the loyalty of the Korean people and service personnel of the People’s Army for the WPK and famous patriotic songs.
The performance, which highlighted the people’s enthusiasm and firm will to realize their aspirations under the leadership of the Party, concluded with the all-people hymn “Dear Father”.
